Therapy can be a sacred space where we find the courage to face life, ask hard questions, and listen to ourselves to develop our own voice and create a new perspective. Asking for help is the first step in your journey to improving quality of life. For most people it can also be the hardest. I applaud you for your bravery and for taking the leap!
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience, I come from a place of compassion and open-mindedness. I strive to ensure my patients feel supported and heard as we work collaboratively towards your goals. I have had the honor of helping individuals, parents, children/teens, families and couples. It is truly a privilege for me to walk along side of others in their journey.
My style of therapy is eclectic, which means I practice from a lot of models including cognitive behavior (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), humanistic, and solution focused therapies when working with clients to overcome obstacles in their lives. How I tailor my practice really depends on your individual needs. Regardless of approach, it will be unique, as therapy just like us is not "one size fits all." I help individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger, relational issues, and those experiencing growth and life transitions.
My areas of specialties include working with highly sensitive people, peri/post partum care, life transitions, generational/cultural issues, and codependency. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or a loved one there is no better time than the present to start living the life you desire and deserve. Call or text today for a free consultation.
